It's like I was getting cocky and needed to be humbled lol Glad this post was an encouragement to you!Amy Mazehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052176651841122314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7872359089210030417.post-71763498202049231392013-04-09T22:51:37.514-04:002013-04-09T22:51:37.514-04:00Yes! I hadn't thought of incorporating it into prayers. I'll have to think to do that! I definitely need to focus on showing more and more love, so that when it is disciplining time, they have so many memories of love to think back on from the day. Thanks for the great ideas and the encouragement!Amy Mazehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18052176651841122314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7872359089210030417.post-639640665451457872013-04-09T01:18:09.633-04:002013-04-09T01:18:09.633-04:00Your post reminds me how important discipline is. ...Your post reminds me how important discipline is. So I think we're in the same boat as far as our kid's ages go. But one thing I try extra hard at doing is giving my kids immediate praise for whatever it is they've done that makes my life easier. I bring it back up at the dinner table so daddy can hear it too. He compliments them. When we say our prayers I let my kids hear me say, "Thank you Lord that my kids obeyed me when I told them to _________, that made my day sweet." Kids need to know they are a blessing even at this small tender age. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11657506557885678460noreply@blogger.com
